took 20 days to get to me from Ohio to Wisconsin. So how do you tell your buyers about the time it takes for a package to arrive? So much for the fast shipping of the USPS.

Hello
Media mail? I use jiffy pac sometimes but all go first class and have not heard any problems. If you want to save money buy USA Postage at 60-70% of face and use it. Some dont like to do that as is messy but for a savings of 5-10.00 each PO Run I like messy.
Have a great week

No it was not media mail. Remember media mail is only for printed matter. There was no printed matter inside the envelope only jewelry. I send my bubble envelopes all 1st class and have no problems either. It just didn't get here and it was postmarked March 5. So with the question how long does it take a package to reach the buyer sometimes it takes a long time.

There is a number of ways. You can locate a stamp auction house and bid on "face" lots or you can go to a stamp store and ask for some. Or you can buy a stamp paper such as Global Stamp News and locate some that way. There is much old USA mint stamps that are worth nothing but postage. You can check ebay.I currently have one lot listed. It is around just look

Libra,

I know what you mean. I have been waiting on a book to arrive for over 2 weeks now. The seller refunded my money but if it ever arrives I will send the payment back...I just want the book.

Last time I checked on face-discount postage the highest denomination I could find was 6 cents. That means I would have to put 39 stamps on a package. They wouldn't fit! Can you find higher denominations now?

On face yes you can. Prices vary though. The higher values usally sell closer to full values than the rest. Also ungummed is out ther but then you need a glue pot and that is a pain. It is out there. Just look arond and be prepaired to lay down a couple hundred when you find it.

I purchased an online catalog order from a large retail store in February. They sent confirmation it was shipped on the 18th. I received the package yesterday. It was mailed parcel post, but it usually only takes 10 days.

I don't think any of our customers would wait beyond 30 days (really not even that long) for packages. I have had several people inquiring on why they have not received items. The PO must be very very slow everywhere!

Edited to add:

I think I will add a note to my shipment notice stating mail is running slow in US now and it may take longer to receive than usual.
