I just had a bid cancelled on an auction that had 3 hours until end (Handkerchiefs). The explanation was: Administrative Cancellation. The bidder had 36 positive feedbacks; no negs. Now it says he is not a registered user. What does Administrative Cancellation mean? Did Ebay cancel the bid?
I have never had this happen before.

Yes that is an e-bay cancel. When they naru someone all his transaction are voided and all his auctions are canceled.

The buyer probably received 3 NPB notices and when you get those they immediately suspend the buyer. I had one a couple of weeks ago. My auction was complete so the buyer didn't lose out and I did receive payment. All she had to do was get the other sellers to write to eBay and retract their NPB and she would get reinstated.
