I was selling a german dagger and i coverd the nazi symbol like the 85 per cent of the 144 other auctions that are on right now, and some dont even cover them, also there are over 400 completed auctions the same way
now i see yes its a violation and ebay will shut it down, my question is why dont they shut all of them down and not just mine today
dosent seem fair, shouldnt this rule apply to all across the board,if anyone knows please tell me i just left a message at the presidents office at ebay asking the above no call back as of yet

thanks

I guess ya just can't win!

OTOH: feeBay only closes auctions when some pretzel-choker complains specifically about a specific auction -- they look no further than their nose!

Probably a competitor turned you in.

No, they'll never say who it was. Just look for someone selling the same item or something very close.

Please explain this to me as if i was a six year old are they not discriminating against
me if they leave all the rest of the auctions going , either stop them all ar leave me the F--- alone , i will persist until this is corrected

cantwin, ebay does not have the staff or time to check each auction personally. when one of your competitors complains to ebay, then they check out your auction and see the offense.

this was probably done by someone selling an item exactly like yours or close to it...if they list theirs as rare and then you put yours up for less money, you take their bids away....in their mind anyway.

if you knew which one did it, you could report them and theirs would probably be closed also....but their is no way to tell and ebay won't tell you.

cantwin I had the same thing happen with money off cigarettes coupons 500 + auctions going and they cancelled mine ...go figure.I asked why when there were so many and the answer I got was no one had turned the others in.So if it makes you feel better go turn in as many as it takes to feel you got even.Thats about all you can do

I've had one eBay auctions cancelled. It was
for a Japanese Anime movie CD. They said it
was porno. It was NOT (Ghost in the Shell).
There were about 300 other GitS auctions
running for everything from VHS tapes, to
coloring books, to comic books, to DVDs, and
mugs. They told me I would have to report
EACH auction to have them taken down too.
Like someone else said, it was probably
another seller who didn't want to compete.

Tell eBay you are a black lesbian, and that
you will file a discrimination lawsuit if
they don't allow the auction. ;^)
