Desertmining and paws4god: Your 2 graphics are wonderful!!! Where can we download them if we want to add them to our auctions or correspondence--& are they royalty free, or not? Thanks!

I got them from an earlier post. Trai put up a link to www.clicksmiles.com and Meadowlark put up www.mysmiles.com. I think they are both from mysmiles where you can pick you face, font, color and type in what you want in the sign. Go to the post topic tomwii and other I think is the name of the topic where the above links are clickable. Yes I think they are royalty free.
By the way how do you put them in your auctions. What html code do you put before and after the link???

Hi Paws4god. (Love your ID!!) I use embedded layouts, so I just host it at vendio like any other image, copy and paste it like a graphic or pic onto my description/webpage and it gets uploaded in the automatically generated html I paste in. If you are writing the html yourself, best place for all sorts of html easy tips and formulas is the specialty topic ebay discussion board-- the "photo/html" category. Look especially for the very obvious snorting steerhead logo with the "Bob's Tips" under it in the previous reply to questions posts--their link references several pages of html instructions for everything from backgrounds to placing images and more. You can just copy and paste the html they suggest into your listing, it's all free. Also Wiz gives good html suggestions, and the few others there that those two recommend are all great. It's a fabulous wealth of free expertise. Sorry I don't know how to write it for you, but what you need will be there and much, much, more. Have fun!

I know this is off the subject of the topic...sorry. I just want to know what you put in front of the http: plus address etc and at the end so you can write it into your auction. On this board I now know it is [$img] [$/img] minus the dollar signs. What do you do for the auctions?

Hi paws4God. The smileygenerator site when you save your smiley after the preview gives you a little window with the webpage code (first line) and the email code (second line). Try copying and pasting in the first code and treat it just like you do your other image codes. The format is usually something like <img src= "xxxxxx.xxx"> Try it with the code in the first line (your image is hosted there so it starts with http:// and mine was http://smileygen..etc.. .png)Try it with and without the [img]at the front, especially try the first line of code there as <img src="http://smileygenerator..etc...etc..png"> and see if that works when you preview.
Use the second code if you want to put the smiley you created into your email.
