OK.
Buyer wins 12 items from me in the same auction, some at minimum some higher. The total was around $150 or so. Sent out WBN's etc but did not get a reply. Sent our reminders and then sent 3 other E-mails requesting payment, or at the very least to be told to **ss off all over a period of about two weeks.
Nothing. Contact info is bogus.
I file NPB. Still nothing.
Now hears my question.
Twelve transactions means twelve retalitory negs for me, if I decide to follow protocol and leave negative feedback for each sale.
Other seller need to be warned, but I really don't need twelve negs on my score sheet.
What would you guys do.
Thanks in advance

Well, it's really the NPBs that will get this deadbeat kicked off. Just wait the necessary period, then file for fee reimbursement on all 12 auctions. That will kick the offender off for sure...instead of warning other sellers, just eliminate the cancer!

Bogus contact info is a big no-no. Did you contact Ebay about that? How long did you wait before sending out multiple emails to your winner? When you sent the emails did you use the Ebay payment reminder? I have found that when I send that one I get a better response then when I send the AW reminder. It's hard to tell what people are thinking anymore. There are some bad eggs lurking around right now.

There again, I have had this same thing happen only to find a check in the mail three weeks after the auction ended. Turns out my buyer had a family emergency out of town and no access to a computer. They just sent me a check. I'm still awaiting payment from an auction that ended almost three weeks ago. I've gotten one email from the buyer and that was one week ago.

If it were me? I'd hold off on leaving the feedback. 12 negs would be a terribly hard hit. I might just file to recover my fees and then move on while discreetly warning others of this buyer's disappearing act.

report the bogus info ~ ASAP.
Give all transaction numbers on the report.
Either they will correct the info or be NARU within 72 hours.
If neither of those happen and they NEG you, eBay will remove the negs ~ one of the reasons for FB removal is with regard to reported bad contact info!
Good Luck!

You can leave twelve FVf's, but it will only count as one as far as getting any deadbeat booted. The FVF's have to come from three different sellers.

Don't even consider the risk leaving 12 negs for a jerk that will soon be gone.
Just file for FVF, forget the negs, protect your FB.

Notify Ebay of the bogus contact info first. As soon as he is NARU, file your NPB alerts. You will be able to immediately recover your FVF without having to wait 10 days.

The light at the end of the tunnel will turn out to be an oncoming train.

I've got a similar issue...had an auction end tonight. Send out invoice, invoice go bouncy bouncy (three times..."user unknown" ). Do I wait the three days until the "payment reminder" becomes available and try contacting him that way or contact safe harbor ASAP?

EDIT: email auction to a friend link results in a bounce as well.

Sometimes the e-mails bounce because a mailbox is full ~
about half of the time that I get rubber e-mails, the item is paid for via PayPal within 48 hours ~ no cause for alarm if the items just ended.
I usually wait 72 hours, send a payment reminder, then notify SafeHarbour if e-mails bounce & bidder hasn't contacted me by that time.

Several things to consider.

The internet problems with emails this past week are very bad due to disruptions from a group of hackers in China. That front page news was posted last week.

Internet Explorer is a little buggy the past few weeks.

Life happens and maybe this is not a dead beat so wait at least 3 weeks for a check and file NPB before the 45 days.

Our ISP is very slow and we get booted off while trying to send emails. Earthlink

Check the feedback on the buyer. If it is bad then maybe you have an issue. If it is good then maybe there is a problem.
