Hi, I had a bidder win a auction the 1st part of march. I sent reminders and more reminders, then did the NPB & FVF {last week}.
Soon as I did the FVF, he emailed me to say he was paying by paypal, which he did.
I shiped the item the next day.still had it.
This guy has been buging me every day since, to let ebay know he paid.
My question is, ?? Would you let ebay know he paid and take 1 strike off his record ?????????????????

Absolutely. If you accepted the payment and shipped the item, the transaction is completed. In fact, since you received your FVF back and also received payment, you are technically engaging in fee avoidance until you notify Ebay. Best you notify them before he does.
The light at the end of the tunnel will turn out to be an oncoming train.

Yes, you should inform eBay that he has paid. May not be right, but my general rule of thumb is to inform eBay that the buyer has paid IF the buyer requests it. If they don't request it, I let it slide. My thinking is they have caused me a lot of wasted time and frustration. If they're not savvy enough to know that that's a strike on their record, and that 3 strikes and you're out - well - the quicker they get kicked off the better!
