2 % domestic transfer is not bad, beats paypal, there is no transaction fee.
also special nifty way to send money to mexico if you have lots of cash starved relatives down there.
intl wire and check is 10 dollars, may come in handy for paying your overseas supplier,as most banks want 35 dollars for wiretransfer, but the exchange rate is not that great.
always looking for a cheaper deal

A better way to do this is thru a new service being offered by man banks. It is effectively a reloadable Visa gift card. The card is sent to the recipient in Mexico and looks like any standard visa credit card but works as a debit card. You deposit the funds onto the card and then they can use it for purchases or cash withdrawals from any ATM machine. You can make additional deposits onto the card at anytime.

you have to go to the site and read about their mexican feature, your relative can go to a retail location and pick up the money, more like the post office deal.

1) They have to pick the cash up from Banamex - thats not a retail location - its a bank.
2) Their exchange rate sucks.

picking up the cash at banamex may be a convenient way for your non internet savvy relative.i am not forcing anyone to use, just another option for some of us.
i paid 35 dollars for wiretransfer to overseas vendors,so ten sounds good but their exchange rate is not that good.
turkey and thailand are two countries not on their list

Yes - but I don't think it's anywhere near as convenient as just using one of the 4 ATMs that you pass on the way : ). Also, you are limited to banking hours to be able to get cash. Basically, if you are sending money to relatives, there are at least three more convienent ways to do it other than c2it. (prevviously mentioned debit card, western union wire transfer , bank transfer - not to mention that a money order from the post office costs dramatically less.

They were overpriced when they were free. So how can 2% be a good deal? It was hardly worth using when they paid to get people to use it.

I signed up for it during the last few days
of December, 2002. I started offering it in
my auctions the first week on January, 2003.
So far, I have received TWO payments via c2it.
However, both deals went smoothly, and it
costs me nothing, so I will continue to
offer it.

for ebay sellers,2 % with no transaction fee (30 cents minimum) is a good deal, paypal is more than 2% plus a transaction fee.
but it does not have the convenience of paypal,it does not send out end of auction payment notice like paypal on ebay.
just another option to keep your eye on.

I used to like bidpay but I they are drving me nuts right now. I had a customer from Austrlia send me a payment thru bidpay.... never got it. We went thru the replacement process and I was told a new payment was being sent. Four days laterI got notice that another customer was sending payment thru Bidpay. Well, yesterday I recieved customer Bs payment but sttill have not recieved the replacement check that was supposed to have been sent 4 days earlier.

bidpay is good for seller as he/she pays nothing, the buyer usuually an overseas bidder will use his credit card and purchase a western union order sent to you.
