I used to sell frequently on eBay a couple of years ago. Then I gave it up for a while. Now I'm back. And things have changed. Right now, I'm looking on advice for auction tools. For example, I used to use Auction Submit and eBud, and I liked both of them. I downloaded Auction Submit, and it still looks good. As for eBud, it is now part of Auctiva, and I'm not sure I want the whole package that now seems to come with it. I've also noticed that PayPal has added a lot of new features, such as the automatic end of auction emails, and the UPS shipping.

What are you using for your auctions? What do you like and dislike about them? I'm going to be doing this part-time, so I don't want to have to invest too much money. So is what you are using worth what it costs?

Thank you so much for your help!! This place is the best place to learn about eBay!!

I use Vendio. So far, I like it. It's easy to use and I think you get a fair amount for your money.

Welcome back!

A lot depends on how many auctions you're running, whether they're low- or high- value, what you want in a post-sale system, etc.

I run 20-30 auctions per week. I use SD (www.sparedollar.com) and have been very happy with them. A flat $4.95/month and you have 50 mgs. of storage. No FVF.

I feel compelled to add to the discussion by mentioning that Vendio does not support eBay Stores. So, if you intend to open an eBay Store you will be doubling your work in this area since you cannot list to the eBay Store nor have any post-sale support using Vendio.

Thanks for the votes on Vendio. I've begun looking at that.

Thank you, postmaster, for the info on the eBay stores. At this point, I'm not planning on doing an eBay store, but you never know. So I'll keep that in mind.

barbarake, thanks for sending me to Spare Dollar. I hadn't heard of that, so another one I'm going to look into.

Thanks!!

Spare Dollar also has an easy learning curve. I just thought I'd add that.
