Is PayingFast.com a legitimate business? Does anyone have business background info on it that would prove it is safe to have dealings with?

As seller, I have dealt with Payingfast for
my auctions with absolutely zero problems.

When bidders go through Payingfast, they (Payingfast) send out a Money Order in the mail.

They are pretty quick about mailing the payment too. It usually takes about 3-4 business days
for me to receive the funds from them.

I have dealt with Payingfast numerous times for probably a year, maybe a bit more. They are a small, most family-run business. They respond to email very quickly and are not tied to "rules" like some of the bigger companies. For example, like Bidpay they have a requirement that large purchases must be from an auction. This is so they can check out the seller's ratings. However, once you do business with them as a seller, they will relax this restriction if you ask them.

Once you get the second email from them that says it is okay to ship, you are covered. I do know of a case where there was a problem with the buyer's credit card that did not show up until after that second email had been sent. Payingfast emailed the seller not this ship. The seller replied that he had already shipped and PF said in that case they were sending the check.

I have concerns about sites, such as PayingFast, that deal with money transfers. On the surface they appear to be established financial institutions, and one would expect them to be backed by $$$$$$ in assets and regulated by governmental agencies. This does not appear to be case and in fact could be a "boiler room" operation run out of some "suite" in a run-down strip mall.

Do a test.

Send an email to bidpay.com and one to payingfast.com

See which one responds quicker.

I do not see them as a boiler room operation. However, if you don't like the company don't use them.

What makes you think that Payingfast is any less legitimate than Paypal? Have you seen any posts from people complaining that Payingfast ripped them off? Are there any class action lawsuits against Payingfast? Has Payingfast had to pay hundreds of thousands of dollars to any government agencies for violations? When you get that check from Payingfast, you are guaranteed payment. No reversals. No charge backs. No "it has come to our attention that you received fraudulent funds" or "a complaint has been made against you so we restricted your account." And Payingfast is FREE to sellers. I offer my customers a discount if they use Payingfast. But if you would rather pay for the priviledge of receiving funds that can be taken away from you, that's your choice.
