Not sure if this has been discussed to death or not, but does anyone use it? Does it really increase your sales and lower "negative" feedback?

The site makes a good sales pitch.

Sure, ST can lower your negative feedback! How much are you willing to pay to have your feedback removed?

As for increasing your sales, please don't make me laugh. I was cheated to the tune of $500 plus dollars by a Square Trade certified seller.

(She's now NARU'd. But eBay wouldn't lift a finger to help me at the time.)

SquareTrade is a joke. I recently posted auctions here, all with new sellers flaunting their "trusted seller" seal of approval. These same sellers have been dropping like flies with lots of negative feedback.

The logo doesn't mean anything to me. Whenever I see it I wonder if the seller gets negs and pays to get them removed.

You might want to look at this article:

Are eBay Users Getting a Square Deal from Square Trade?

Square Trade, eBay's chosen provider of dispute resolution and seller verification services, aims to help buyers identify trustworthy sellers they can buy from safely. But some eBay users, after being ripped off by an eBay PowerSeller sporting the Square Trade seal, might disagree....

It will cost you $20.00 each to get a neg removed by square trade. I have over 4500 feedbacks with 4 negs from non paying bidders. I use square trade but refuse to give ebay $80.00 to remove my negs. If you are an honset dealer I think square trade is worth it. My sell through rate is 70% to 80%. If you want to avoid negs its simple NEVER LEAVE a feedback first and never give a neg to a non paying bidder. I only leave feedback's to those customers that leave me one the heck with the rest of them. If your customer does not leave you a feedback then they don't deserve one from you.

[] trade is just a money grubbing subsidary of e bay. I had a very NASTY remark by a real LOONEY TUNES buyer on my feed back. HE,,,, the LOONEY TUNES took ME to [] trade! hahaha,,,,I blew the jerk right out of the water. They did nothing for him. He was the faithful MEMBER! I was and still am a great seller. I did not even waste my time with thier loaded guestions questionare. I e mailed them DIRECT! Told them how it was and that was the end of that nonesense.

In the mean time I showed e bay what the Moron wrote in my feed back and POOF! It was gone! (NO $20.00 bucks to [] trade here, No way!)Hahahahaha,,,,,,The MOST funny thing about it,,,,,,I,,,,,,,was STILL able to post a response to HIS filth and HE CAN'T to me! I did! And I did it GOOD!! He WAS,,,, a seller and somewhat buyer,,,,,I Doubt anyone WILL EVER Buy from OR sell to him AGAIN! He has had absolutely NO activity since.

Which now brings me to this conclusion, those that say post Vulgar language in hopes of getting it removed,,,,,yours WILL be removed,,Fact! But,,,,the reciever can STILL reply to it! And the Vulgar, CAN'T! reply.
