If you notice my emails, they have to do with non-auction questions. I was seeking advice on "Wanted" and "Beware" posts. Check my messages again. And no, it's not B.S.

Now that I know how to list an auction I won't need your advice anymore

Wanna make a bet. If you think selling on eBay is easy just read some of these posts. You'll be back. You can't know it all because if you read many of the knowledgeable people come here to ask questions. I hope you learned something while you were here....

I've been selling for 4 years and I still need advice sometimes.

Don't hesitate to come back and ask for help. The people here are great about sharing advice and tips on making your eBay selling just a bit easier.

No, I don't believe that LiW48 is a troll and it's rude to label them as such.

LiW48, it helps to buy and sell items that you are familiar with and you should also study your market carefully.

Do you know how to look at completed auctions on ebay? If not, come back here and someone will show you how. Also check the current listings and see how others are listing theirs and whether they are getting bids or not.

Go to the site map at the top of any ebay page and click on some of the subject matter on that page as there is lots of info there. Click Help at the top of any ebay page and check the topics in the alphabetical list.

We all need advice and some of us, including me are rude at times. Keep checking back here as it's a great place to learn and after awhile you kind of get used to everyone.

Congratulations!! I am glad to hear of some who really has it all together. I wish I did. I have only been selling on eBay for 5 yrs. & still don't have it all together. Just remember there are no stupid questions, only stupid answers. You will be back.

sanmar, I had it all together once...for about 2 seconds, then I dropped it!

on the serious side though, none of us can ever learn it all...we all need a little help now and then so never be afraid to ask here...

IMHO, the best rule a seller should use is;

be the kind of seller you would like to buy from...treat everyone that way and you will do well.

rarriffle-you had it together longer the me. Mine came and went in a moment. I still don't know how to use the help boards and maybe that is because just when I think I have things right eBay goes and changes things. My right hand doesn't know what the left hand is doing and I guess that is good as it keeps me on my toes....
