No - not that type of porcelain help - there hasn't been an incident of praying to the Porcelain God in a number of years.

Here's what I have - and can't find anything comparable - despite a bunch of looking.

What I'm particularly interested in knowing is "What the heck do the numbers mean?" -- and can anyone confirm that this is Royal Copenhagen? I can't find that maker's mark.

Thanks for anything you can help with.

Kind regards,

Wayne

Hi Wayne, welcome to Vendio.

There is a similar mark in Kovels with the same dLp center logo and it is:

Svend Jensen
Ringsted, Denmark
Limited Edition Plates
1973+ (1970 - Present)
(Desiree, Denmark)

Thanks, Kiara! Would you believe I have ordered their 2003 book and am awaiting delivery as I type this.

Still wondering about those numbers, though -- and that blasted "P" just flying out there by itself...

I have a few other items that I can't locate info on -- and I'll post a bit later -- don't want people to think I'm hogging space here.

Thanks for the help again.

Wayne

You know it is like Johnson Bros they have an initial in green that doesn't appear in the book. Just sitting off to the side. Maybe it is a designer mark

Since it's handpainted perhaps the P is the initial or mark of the artist. Maybe this was the 15th plate out of 78 that they painted themselves.

the numbers could also be the blank/mold number and pattern number too.

I agree that the P is probably the artists
initial

very pretty piece.I love the soft colors

rarriffle, I think you are correct about the numbers being the mold and pattern.
