BOY-O-BOY, do I ever take my hat off to you postcard sellers. Last week I listed about 50 early holiday cards on Ebay. Wow what a lot of work. Never again for me way too much work. The cards did O.K. but I really see how you people must have to know a lot about the cards you are selling. Keep the faith, good luck and good selling. I sure learned a lesson about postcards.

I admit I mainly sell to people who write me nice letters saying "Thank you so much, I went to that school...attended that Church...was born in that city etc"
I don't know a valuable card from a plain jane but I do know when I look at one and get a nice fuzzy warm feeling. If so, I usually know I can sell it.
Lots of sellers know exactly what the brands are and all. I just sell what I love. And, I love old postcards! Lots of work, yes. But, lots of fun and meeting lots of nice folks who buy my cards. And, they hardly ever turn out to be deadbeats

99.9% of postcard buyers are the best buyers on ebay in terms of following thru and paying for the items with no bounced checks.

I agree with txeagle - postcard buyers are the BEST! My mailbox is full of notes from buyers who, like Linda says, take the time to write a note to explain why they bought the postcard. It helps to make the tedious work of scanning and listing and shipping a LOT more interesting..but you are right big peepa...it's not for everybody! I love history and travel and I often research the subject of my pc's for my own edification. THis board offers a welcome distraction when i am about to nod off from the pure monotony of scanning or listing!!
