We had a bidder from Italy buy a set of golf clubs and wire us the money. His emails were broken English, but pretty good. We had trouble with the wire transfer so we had to email him back (It went to Wyoming instead of Wisconsin). We went to free-translation and would translate it from English to Italian and then back again - changing any words that didnt' make sense, and then we would also send it in English. Well, apparently he was using a real translator in the beginning and now is using the free one. This is what I received from him this morning.
"Hi, the package has arrived and the set is amaze. I wish I were there too
you know if you deal in items from sweater and of the Dunlop DDH has even
the driver, putter and the woodwindses."
My DH thinks we should translate that into Italian and let him see what he asked us - he will be surprised. I can pretty much get the "jest" of what he is asking, but can't figure out what a sweater would be - a golf head cover maybe?

We used to play a game with the translation programs kind of like telephone... we would pick quote of the day then translate into spanish and back to english three times and see if anyone could figure out what the original quote was.
Translation: I did not take the care from the burial, but that one that I sent pleasant I of the letter approved of him will verify
Original Quote:I didn't attend the funeral, but I sent a nice letter saying I approved of it.
