Just got an email from Damon.
He instructed me to withdraw money from the account.
This has been a journey indeed.
Let me see.
First the buyer gives his credit card.
Then, I get an email from PP advising so.
Then I'm asked to Confirm
Then I have to click the 'complete'button
Then the money sits there and nobody tells me it's sitting waiting for a transfer.

Then I have to 'withdraw' the funds from the PP account to transfer to the bank.

That's 5 f******* steps just to get some money.

First the buyer gives his credit card. - Not a step for you....
Then, I get an email from PP advising so. Other than opening the email - Not a step
Then I'm asked to Confirm - 1 time only step
Then I have to click the 'complete'button - 1 time only step
Then the money sits there and nobody
tells me it's sitting waiting for a transfer. how the hell is this a step?
Then I have to 'withdraw' the funds from the PP account to transfer to the bank.

Poor baby - you have to open an email - sign on to your account, transfer to your bank.

If we took your exaggerated view and applied it to money orders you have....

Get off butt
Go to mail box
Remove from mailbox
Open envelope
Endorse checks
Get off butt again
Go to car
Start car
Drive to bank
fill out deposit slip / insert ATM card into machine
Deposit check

All those "f******* steps just to get some money".

I think I would rather open the email.

Then I'm asked to Confirm
...I think you mean Accept or Deny...

Then I have to click the 'complete' button
...No you don't. I never do.

Then the money sits there and nobody tells me it's sitting waiting for a transfer.
...You have to tell PP where and how to transfer it, they can't read your mind.

...BTW why did Damon email you? Did you ask them a question? Remember, don't click on any links in unexpected email.

This means, please dive in with correction please, that from now on you 1)will accept all credit cards without having to accept or deny and 2)are a premier account and even debit/account transfers will incur a 2.9% plus 0.30 fee by paypal.
Am I right?

For once I am on PayPal's side on this one. Granted, they do have many quirks in the system, but the fact of the matter is PayPal is one of the easiest ways to receive money out there. If you are too lazy to accept money, then you need to look for a new hobby like playing in traffic.

the author of this thread is used to selling on half.com and amzn.com for books, you just register with your bank account and they will deposit the proceeds to her bank.
paypal is different.
she could consider selling on YAHOO SHOPPING where she will have a mercant account and fund from customer will be deposited to her bank account at end of day.

OMG, I do this at least once a month, that is transfer funds into my bank acct. Anytime my PP acct goes over $500.00 I trnsfr at least half into my business acct. The rest I use for gas, postage etc. Easiest transaction there is, takes all of 2 minutes & I don't have leave my chair.

It sounds like Salgal48 just wants to sit back and watch the money drift to the account. This posterior has said nothing good about PayPal and I would suggest don't take it...Every thread they write is about PayPal and I for one wish they would go to the PayPal site and READ IT. PayPal is very easy to use, Money right away, packages out of the house immediately what else can we ask for? I have had no problems and if I do I would go to the right place, eBay discussion board for PayPal and write in there. I am sure damon will give you an answer as soon as he surfs in.
