Say a buyer bids, wins,& they don't pay.I file for fee's, and find when I go to leave Neg feedback,they are no longer a registered user, They did it themselves, not as being kicked off by ebay,{unless 3 sellers have filed FVF's and not posted neg feedback}

My question is this, once a person with that ebay ID is no longer registered, can they come back at a later time and re-register with that same ID.??? It has all positive feedback on it.

Just asking as I have had 3 bidders do this with in the last month,I am not able to leave a neg feedback for them. Their feedback shows no neg feedback for non payment. If they come back with that ID, how is a seller to know ???

Hope this makes sense??? Thanks for any help.

How can you tell if they voluntarily quit at ebay or got booted? I don't know about coming back at a later time with the same ID. That would give buyers a chance to save their good feedback rating after renegging on some buys and that doesn't sound like ebay would allow it.

It's probably....three sellers filed for FVF & didn't leave negative FB

I always file for FVF, but never leave negative FB, darned if I would ever give a deadbeat a reason to mess up my FB, specially when they are 100% in the wrong.

I'm waiting for the day eBay will put a stop to this.

You wouldn't know if they came back unless you kept checking their FB to see if the NARU has been removed.

I don't leave a negative feedback but do file for the final NPB. They get a strongly worded letter and warning from ebay and that can cause them to give you a negative as it is. Knowing they got an important NPB strike is more important than leaving a negative anyway.

Why give neg FB and invite a retaliatory one in return? File for final value fees and get them booted, which is apparently what has happened. Two sellers before you filed for FVF and didn't leave neg feedback. Your filing caused them to be deep sixed. There are many sellers who would like to thank you for doing that. Neg feedback on an npb doesn't help anyone. It's the third fee refund request that is important.

The light at the end of the tunnel will turn out to be an oncoming train.

#1 they can't leave any feedback as they are no longer registered users & # 2 you can't leave them any feedback either + or - as they are no longer in the system. Frogetit & move on.

there are some user ids which are deemed desirable, and once the original owner gets naru'd,someone may snatch it up after 30 days.i have seen 2 cases in last month.

If they can get reinstated under the NARU user ID than the feedback part of your auction will appear so that you can give them feedback. I know it happened to one of my buyers. When I went into the feedback area there was that auction. It wasn't me that filed because that buyer paid me.

Ebay had a strict policy of never letting NARUed IDs go out in circulation again other than possibly the original owner. Has that policy changed recently?

I doubt it. Even if they do allow it, I think it would be a lot more than 30 days before a new owner would be allowed to use it.

I think what stopwhining saw were simply 30-day suspensions. 3 NPBs gets a 30-day suspension and a 4th makes it indefinite.

I think stopwhining is seeing things. As far as I know the NARU ID is never given out again. If you check your BBL you may see many NARU's that just sit there collecting dust.

I agree with others that say that the ID was reinstated after they got booted.

There have been several threads here about the NARUed IDs never being given out again. There is no way ebay could do that as the chance for fraud would be too high. Many sellers have written ebay asking about getting Narued or dormant IDS with great names and they are always told no by ebay.

Some may confuse this with AOL's practice of reissuing user IDs 6 months after they are given up by the former owners.
