Hi, I was just wondering if there is any way I can tell who has been viewing my auctions. This past week when I was doing some surfing on Ebay, I started getting emails from either the same ebay Name or a web site spamming their items. Now that I think of it, this may be a way to tell if your auctions are being watched by someone who never bids, but may turn out using your copy or pix. Thanks!, It's good to be back.

Yes, there is...in a way.
If you host your own pictures, you can look at your http access logs to see who accessed that image and when.

Hi Fluffy, thanks for the reply, I guess my main concern is being able to tell who clicked onto my auction to view it. Like I mentioned this week I was checking a particular category looking for an item I thought my granddaughter would enjoy. Right after I started looking into this, I received quite a few spam emails selling exactly what I was searching for. Some were actually from the sites I visited and some were advertising their web pages. I never had reason to look in this particular category before. I believe there must be some software available allowing sellers to see who is accessing their listing page.

You very well have some "spyware" on your computer. If you don't already have an anti-spyware application, GET ONE. Lavasoft has a product called AdWare that seeks out spyware on your PC. It is downloadable from many sites - do a google search.
You'll be amazed how many things it finds. The first time I ran it, it found hundreds of items.
