For the month of June nearly all of my non-paying bidders are ebay sellers with active auctions. This month isn't an exception. It has been getting worse and worse all year.

Not one of them has emailed to say there is a problem or responded to ebay's non-paying bidder alert.

Is anyone else having problems with sellers paying?

It has been really bad for me recently. This month (so far), I have had 23 non-paying bidders. 16 of them sell on ebay.

9 of them list auctions every week and the other 7 sell sporadically. I rarely get a rsponse to the NPBA's either. If I do it is always nasty.

I've had few of these the past year. The only time you hear from them is after you file their 3rd NPB, and they get all of their auctions closed. I keep telling people, it is not enough to post - feedback. You must file NPB's. I'm always surprised when I see bidders with all kinds of negative feedback for non payment, but are still registered. I would guess that only about 20-30% of sellers, bother to take the time to file all the appropriate notices.

Maybe if ebay let the sellers get back the FVF and the insertion fees on NPBs then there would be more of them filed. In the long run ebay would make out as more of the bad buyers would get booted then they are now.

Boy do I feel fortunate. I've not had any NPB in the 2 years I've been selling on ebay. You didn't just see me knock on every piece of wood in my ebay room . I've avoided some thanks to you guys and your heads up, though.

It depends on what you sell. Goth items for unstable teens must have a high NPB rate while religious books may have a very low NPB rate.

I rarely had this problem ...until recently. Although it's not that bad, I have had 1 or 2 slow to contact/ reply every week for the past 2 months. Last week I got so tired of
writing to late payers, I wrote to one lady twice and then again as a final notice before filing for NPB fees. I said "Do you intend to complete this transaction or can I just save myself some time and file for my non-paying bidder fees from ebay right now?". I received a full payment from her through paypal within 1 hour! ( Almost) every time I send this "final notice" I miraculously receive payment within 24hours.

whining.....I have to use a separate buying ID, because in my small field all the buyers know that if I'm bidding, it's got to be a good item, one that they'd see me selling, and they're right.

I've only had a few non-paying bidders in the last few months and all of them finally paid. I think it has alot to do with the category you sell in.

Once a npb form is completed by the seller E bay should block!!!!!! them from being able to leave any kind of feed back, nothing transpired except a lot of filings and Grief!!!!!! And ONLY part of the sellers money back!!!! As it is now the low life scum bag can and will come back and NEG YOU for filing!!!!!! Insane!!!!!

I have enough non paying bidders for everyone on this board, no joke.!!!!

I get at least 20 a month, if not more.
Some are sellers too.

Just had one call me a S.O.B. on feedback he left for me, and calls me a lier.
Nice guy he was {shaking head}

Ebay should block buyers from leaving feedback once a NBPN & FVF's has been filed
