About a month ago I won 9 auctions from the same seller.
She only accepts paypal and she wanted payment within 48 hours. She does not combine shipping since: The lots are already pre-packaged in shipping boxes ready to be shipped when payment arrives. I had no problem with that. She stated her terms clearly.
I pay her for all of the auctions within 12 minutes of them ending.
The next day she sent me an email saying: I am going to refund these payments. You need to send the total in one payment.
I repsonded: I do not combine payments since the auctions are individual and not combined in any way.
She didn't refund the payments and she sent the items all in one box. She made a profit on shipping charges of about 30 dollars.
I was little pissy since she did put all of the items in one box. The complete opposite of what she claimed in her auctions.
Well tonight, I check my feedback and she left me nine negatives.
In one of the she even claims that I paid very slow.
Have any of you ever encountered anything like this? I consider this pretty brazen.

have you already left your feedbacks? if not this is one place I would do BIG FAT NEGS..not only is she brazen, she is one priss poor seller!
my 9 negs would link into one by doing a continuous explanation of the problem about her combined shipping, using all nine you can factually explain exactly what she did to other potential buyers.

What a rotten and mean spirited thing to do. I'm more than a little tired of this kind of seller. They make all of us look bad because they are the ones the media concentrates on. Boo and hiss to her. Hopefully she's a member of this board, will read these comments and wake up. shop4shoes, you have more than your share of troubles. You haven't by any chance bought a ghost in a bottle or anything have you? If so, SELL, SELL, SELL.
Give it to her big time in your comments about her feedback. She deserves every word!

Wasn't you one of the sellers in another thread either complaining about not receiving combined payments or suppoorting that seller?
Seems like the same situation here, she paid out extra paypal fees for each individual payment... but you got her good eh... sent 9 individual payments, Ding... now she has got you...
Your neg will now just look retaliatory and childish...

Nope. I have never complained, nor do I care. I don't accept paypal and I have not sold on ebay in months.
If a seller sends an invoice for combined shipping, it should be in one payment. If there is no combined shipping it should be individual payments.

My negs won't look retaliatory. They will look like the truth. Folks can spot a retaliatory neg a mile off, just as they can spot a lying seller. My id has over 300 positives in the past 45 days and no negatives until hers. I also plan to leave the tracking number of the package under the comment she made about me paying slow. If I paid slow why did she ship the day after the auction ended.
Wouldn't the paypal fees be the same even if she sent it as one payment? It's still the same percentage, or is it not
I honestly don't know. I always thought the percentage was the same no matter what.
posted on June 26, 2003 05:23:02 AM new
paypal percentage may be the same but there is a TRANSACTION FEE per transaction of 35 cents.
if she is making 30 dollars on shipping, she can afford paying an extra 35 cents x 8 =2.80.
are those items considered big bargains??

Shop4shoes, this sounds like a seller I had a while back. I think I even started a thread on her. I doubt there could be two of them that bad.
Does she sell books, cosmetics and hair products in lots?
If you haven't already take a look at the feedback she has left. She leaves negs for most of her customers.
I agree that if she did not combine shipping, that she should be paid for each auction individually. That is what I did (if it is her). She left me 3 negatives.
She should also be negged for not shipping each auction individually as she said she would in her auctions.

I also dislike "sellers" like this. I sure don't consider them sellers or dealers. In my book they are just some slime that call themselves a "seller/dealer". Once again I will say if you buyers stick with the pros. Real sellers or dealers that have worked hard to earn a high feedback count with a low negative feedback's you buyers will be just fine. It takes more than Ebay to become a trusted honest dealer/seller it take years of hard work.

Shop, go to site map, go to rules and safety, go to feed back removal. Ignore everything it says, go to contact e bay. contact them, tell them the numbers. Be VERY nice. breifly explain the situation. Ask them to do the right thing and remove them. They will! I know they will. You'll be back in no time jumping up and down saying, THEY DID IT!!! THEY REMOVED IT!!! Yippie!!!

Darn! I can't edit any of these. I get a stupid scripts error every time!
Anyway. the choice is yours but I'd advise you say nothing in the feed back to her. I know! It sucks! but! I do believe if you show restraint on retuning the feed back it will increase your chances of getting it removed. Just past experience. You can, like they say make it private, I would not, anyone can see what was done to you.
It will soon go poof! takes them 10 days to decide. 10 days is nothing. Thank them alot! They are real humans. You will even get a real persons name! I learned all this from other people. It will work.

Jack, I am expecting them to remove it much sooner than 10 days. She has false contact information. I hope she gets the boot.

Less you know something I don't gettin' the boot ain't gonna take off the negs. Funny, I took my own advice and went where I told you and I put in a request myself. Plus, I advised them about that block NPB idea.

Shop....In addition to the bad contact info, these negs should qualify for removal on the basis of feedback bombing. Just be glad she left them all at once instead of one every two weeks.
The light at the end of the tunnel will turn out to be an oncoming train.
posted on June 26, 2003 07:42:38 PM newPlease let us know if you get the feedback removed.
Yes, let us know about it. Ebay is so damn adamant about not removing feedbacks it's amazing they would remove an feedbacks without getting the $25 Square Trade dues or whatever racket they call it they have going.
