and a turbo seller. Lady on the radio said she sold for others and took a cut of what she put on Ebay. Meaning, she input the product on Ebay and got a cut when it sold. So how does that work?

You don't have to be a Power Seller to be a Trading Assistant. No relationship between the two. I have been doing this for several months & have had mixed results. I once had a Lear Jet on with a reserve of $550,000.00. It didn't sell, but did have a bid of $460,00.00. Am getting ready to put on a MIG 21 for $225,000.00. Thats right a MIG 21 which is hangered in Santa Maria, CA!!! It is flyable & looks like new.

Sanmar, tell me more. How do you get that kind of business. you can email me privately if you don't want the others to know.

It seems that being a Trading Asst is better than being an individual mom & pop Ebay seller.

noh2. You know us posters on this board think no question is stupid. Only Ralphie does but we ignore him. If you don't watch out he will bite your heels.

Wow, even I am not going after Salgal. It was a simple terminology. It is obvious Sal meant trading assistant and not power seller. Gees, give the guy a break noh2 or at least graduate from high school first.

That's the term the woman on the radio stated: power seller! I didn't make that term up, she used that term.

I saw the link and read it thanks.

Salgal48, here is the page about Power Sellers and the requirements.

http://pages.ebay.com/services/buyandsell/powersellers.html

When you were here a few weeks ago you were unsure about how to sell one of your first items. I advise that you gain a bit more experience selling before thinking about selling for someone else.

Besides learning things on these boards you can find a wealth of information from the site map on ebay.

http://pages.ebay.com/sitemap.html

Good luck with your sales, as long as you are eager to learn you should do okay.

JACK et al: This gentleman is in International leasing, & has world wide contacts. No, I didn't lose any money. The plane was listed through eBay Motors & the listing fee plus highlight was $45.00. I have listed several things for him & have always been paid promptly. He is a retired Army Major pilot flew small planes & helicopters. He does a lot of business with Eastern European countries including Russia. The Lear Jet was owned by a Russian & was hangered in Lithuania. Dave had sold the plane about 8 yrs. ago.
