Since you guys are a fountain of knowledge that has not been equaled anywhere else, I'm turning again to you for help.
Got a couple of neat glasses / sherbets at an estate sale just recently and despite looking through Florence's books, I can't tell exactly what this pattern is.
Any help to identify this one? They stand about 4 1/4 inches tall and the mouth is almost 4 inches in diameter. They look a little like Lincoln Inn - Fenton, but the stem is different and the pattern around the bowl has clear sections and that doesn't show in the Lincon Inn pattern... Hmmmpf!
Also, I can't seem to locate ANYTHING about this unique looking set. It's got a nice wide band of gilding around both pieces - but again, can't locate the maker - and thus, can't id the pattern, either. HELP! Please.
This comport measures 3 1/2 inches tall and has a 6 1/2 inches in diameter.
Thanks in advance for your help.

I don't know anything about the first picture, but the second one looks like Victory by Diamond glass-ware company (1929-1932). I got that straight out of a Florence book.

You're very welcome.
I'd list them seperately, but picture them together so that anyone seeing the one knows you have the other. Of course, I'm assuming that you'd give the winning bidder a break on shipping costs if they won both items.
On the other hand, I've only been selling on ebay a little over a month - so what do I know? (I have sold collectibles in the real world for about 13 years).

The plate and compote could be two different things depending on the measurements. Warman's lists a cheese and cracker set consisting of a compote and a 12" indented plate; BV $45. A compote by itself would measure 6" high by 6 1/4" in diameter. The plates range from 6" to 12". It's not a mayo set because the bowl for that isn't footed. THe gold may add a bit of value.

Miscreant - You've been VERY helpful tonight! After you pointed out the Heisey, I had to go look even closer at the sherbets - a lot closer.
And - damn if there wasn't a diamond with an H in it - very clearly marked only on one of them. The others were a lot fainter and that's probably why I didn't pick up on it. Guess I should look a lot closer on each and every piece when I get a set like that, huh?
Now, it's off to see how I should list them - as a set of 6 or one at a time. Any thoughts? I got them at an estate sale for $18 for all of them and they're in perfect condition - not even regular wear marks.
Thanks again - to cherishedclutter - and you, too, Jensmome - the plate measures 8" - so I guess it must be 2 pieces and not a set. I think I'll take cherishedclutter's suggestion of listing them separately, but including photos of them together in each listing so they know there are two pieces available - and linking the two auctions as well...
You guys have been a great help today.
Thanks again.
