I never thought about the possibility of more cans stashed in the same place.
The guy that bought the original can is the one that may have gotten hurt by the discovery of so many other like cans as now the can is such a mega rare oddity any more.

I's definately say that the value of the first can has dropped now that there are 13 known rather than 1. I guess some of the value is retained by the knowledge that they are divided among only two people. Why do I think there are two more cans stashed away somewhere for when the son needs a downpayment for his house?

I read a story recently in an antiques paper, about a guy who found two rare items of ephemera -- something like originals of the Declaration of Independence but different -- only one was known before.
This is a true story. So what did he do to maintain the value? He auctioned one of them, and shredded the other!!

If any of those beer cans were to show up on ebay today they would not go anywhere near the $19K now that the cat is out of the bag.
