I use Netscape Composer to create all my ads. Just use the buttons on the screen to change your text size, color, add tables... it's very easy to use and what you see is what you get. Then click on the tab for "html source" and you can see the html behind the work you have done.

I just copy the entire html source and paste it into the description box on ebay. I have a template saved on my computer, so I just need to change the pictures, description and shipping info for each item.

deltim: where and how do you get netscape composer? I went to the netscape site and can't find if it is automatic with netscape 7.1. I have the 7.0 version but never use it and don't have composer on my computer.
Thanks

It comes automatically with all versions of netscape. When you have netscape running, find the "window" link on the very top toolbar, then click on that and from the drop-down box click on "composer". Or down at the bottom in one of the corners there are picture symbols. The one that is a piece of paper and a pen is for composer.

Another way to get to it is to be on a webpage and then click "file" then "edit page". It opens that webpage in composer for editing. Somehow I even have it set to do that for IE, I don't know how I did that.

The only thing to watch is for is the saving images preferences. If it is not set right it will only save the "relative url" location for the image, and not the entire url. I always like to use the full url. You can edit preferences in the same spot you change the other netscape preferences, under edit then preferences.

I like this site. It lets you practice doing an auction page. Good luck!
