Haven't asked anyone to help identify any Carnival Glass recently - but this one has us stumped!

We've looked in several pattern books and can't seem to figure this one out at all.

It appears to have grapes as well as maybe apples or peaches or plums -- but nothing is showing up in the Doty's Field Guide or online searches.

Can you point us in the right direction?

It has 4 feet, measures 12 inches long x 8 inches wide and is 4.25 inches tall. It's pretty heavy and weighs about 4 pounds!

Let me know if these images give you enough to go by or if you want something else to help.

Thanks again in advance.

The reason you can't find it in any carnival glass books is that it's modern. There was a series of new carnival made in the 70'-80's. I don't remember who made them. could be Indiana Glass.
It's a centerpiece or console bowl.

I've seen this in a flashed version as well.

The flashing was peeling off.

Wow, I have seen so many of those exact bowls, in 'carnival' and 'flashed' as fluffy said.

There are so many, they can barely give them away at flea markets or garage sales

Sorry!

Ok experts, what is "flashed" I have no idea what that means.

I regards to the piece. I have two similar to yours: One is milk glass and the other is 70's carnival glass. They match each other and they are both from Indiana glass co. hope the foto below helps

Paloma,
Flashed means that a translucent color coat was applied to the glass to change the color.
Flashed glass is susceptible to scratching.
