So what are you using MyEbay to do? I've found it completely useless.

Oh, okay, not completely useless. I do watch the Pending Items section to keep track of what I've queued up to sell. But it's cumbersome to use.

i use "my ebay" to watch my auctions - VD has a BIG lag in bids..and you have to switch between active and post sale views to see sales...and I would never PAY to pend items in eBAy when can do for FREE in VD! so i use VD to watch those..how do you watch your auctions Fluffy?

I don't watch my auctions. (What would be the point? Either they get bids or they don't. Watching it won't change anything.) I do keep a browser window up all the time with 30 days of auctions.

The time I save by listing multiples using pending listings is absolutely worth the 10 cents each. I list in groups of three: one starts today, one starts a week from today and one starts two weeks from today. All identical items, of course.

If "VD" means Vendio, of course it's not free. I use no auction management software at all.

I am surprised you don't use any auction management software Fluffy!

If you plan to pend a number of auctions, then VD (Vendio) IS cheaper than listing through eBay - I guess pending through eBay makes sense if you run just a few auctions.

Example: VD sales manager= $29/mo ... 1000 auctions/month pended through eBay at 10 cents each = $100. FVF at VD runs 1.25% or about $36 on $3,000 sales. Totals: VD $65 - eBay $100..while VD isn't free, it's better than handing the extra $ to eBay.

Spare Dollar is virtually free - you can pend there for $ 4.95/mo with no FVF!

Last things first: Spare Dollar, last time I looked, is Windows/Internet Explorer only.

I don't pend everything, just the items I have multiples of. I don't know offhand how much money I spent on it last month, but it wouldn't have been $100.00 since I didn't have 1000 auctions total. Currently I have 85 auctions pending, which will start anywhere from today to July 27.

I'm busy listing this morning in real time as well, but they are all one-of-a-kind items that I have fabricated myself using spare parts.
