I've had this pitcher shaped vase for awhile and it's made by H.Bequet, Quaregnon, Belgium. I've found a few of them on the net, but all they give is a price (mostly at estate sale listings) and no history. Anyone know anything about this maker?

I found this one and it says the pottery existed from the early 20th century and ceased production about 4 decades ago.

Thanks Kiara..my mark is identical and that's the most information I've gotten on this thing so it's very much appreciated. My vase is pretty, well, okay, flat out ugly. It looks like something left over from Timothy Leary's last pottery class. In my opinion of course.

Remember Ugly sells. As many times I helped in estate sales the ugly pieces went first. The uglier the more money.....

Actually, the darned thing is on it's third listing. Finally got a bid, but I am getting questions I can't answer. I held onto it, researching, for quite awhile, and finally decided it was going up, regardless, because I am trying to make a path through my office and downstairs area. I certainly don't want to display the darned thing..I'm getting picked on too much about it here at home
That is one lesson I've learned for sure..the uglier *I* think it is, the more interest there will be on eBay
