It's kinda lousy, isn't it? We are power sellers (silver) and recently have found that the search feature is not working very well. We type keywords into ebay's search engine and get a few pages of listings; but when we click on a listing, we get thrown back to ebay's home page.
Additionally, I am getting lots of those bogus emails stating that my ebay status cannot be verified (it's a hoax where someone is trying to get my ebay password).
i tried calling the toll-free number for ebay power seller support. I called FOUR times and each time was on hold over fifteen minutes before the call went to dead silence. the silence lasted for another ten minutes at which point I just hung up.
One wonders, why do they bother to tell you about their dedicated customer service for power sellers if it stinks.

"ebay's customer service?"
Is that anything like...

It's not eBays fault that you are getting the bogus emails. They have nothing to do with it and can't control it.
Sounds like you have the same customer support as me, the small time seller.
