I have been selling since 1998 with great feedback! Last night when I went to bed, I had 22 items for listed & a few of them were sold. This morning, I turn on my computer & there are NO auctions on my Ebay page. Yet all of my sold items are listed. I check my email & there are emails from Safe Harbor. The times are 12:32AM;
SafeHarbor FIP Suspension

We regret to inform you that your eBay account has been suspended due to the violation of our site policy below:

* Dead/invalid email addresses - Invalid and/or non-working email address.

If you are receiving this email, indicating your email address is now valid, please reply to this email and we will promptly reinstate your account.

We apologize for any inconvenience this suspension may have caused, however, before suspending the account we sent an email test with unsuccessful results, either receiving an undelivered email bounce or no response after 24 hours. We had no choice but to suspend the account as a precaution since we must require all eBay members to have functioning email addresses.

Respectfully,

Safeharbor Department
eBay Inc.

Then at 2:17AM - this one:

We appreciate the information you have submitted, and have reviewed the details of this suspension. After further review, it has been decided that your account qualifies for reinstatement. Please note that, although your account is now active, any listings or bids that were cancelled by your account suspension will not be reinstated.

I did not reply or resubmit information. Mybe my ISP was down for an hour or 2.

My items are still listed in Vendio, but not on ebay. IS THIS A NEW SCAM??? Has this happened to anyone else?

What should I do?

I just posted an email I received also but yours doesn't sound right, if you never answered how did they get your information? I would watch my listings and see if there is anything suspicious in them. Maybe change your password.

Yes, I plan to do that. As a matter of fact, I received 2 of those fake "ebay" scam emails this past week, asking for my password, which I did not answer.

______

As a matter of fact, I forwarded both of those emails to SafeHarbor!

Your emails and situation sound fairly legit. I think you may know better than us if you were running slightly afoul of the ebay laws with some of your pulled auctions but many of the ebay rules are murky especially the VERO rules.

Your speculation about your ISP being down may be correct and I think ebay should have 2 email contacts from sellers at least as an option so the sellers can get timely emails such as these. I know there are 500 workers in the ebay customer service department from recent net news stories but I'm not sure they work a graveyard shift ( most of these workers are in Utah ). The fact that your auctions are gone says a lot and the Vendio auctions would be cached and not effected by an ebay pull.

I would write or call ebay a request verification of the emails. Sorry all of this happened to you and I hope everything is resolved soon.
