Was selling a book for 40.00 no reserve......auction ended with no sale....two days later I get an e-mail telling me that the same book is for sale for 49.00.....then this person tells me he will pay 25.00......I was selling at a reduced price......already and he has the nerve to offer 25.00......These people are too much......The funny thing is I would have sold him the book if he hadn't told me what he was going to pay me...Do you let your customers price your items ....I think not.....Who needs customers like that...

i know exactly what you mean. i had an item offered at 12.00 starting bid and $6.50 shipping. no bids. i get and email offering me $15.00, which includes shipping. i told them it would go to goodwill first.

I look up these guys email addresses on ebay and try to get their ebay IDs and then block them. They're telling you they are a PITA and it would be wise to not deal with them in the future.

Do you let your customers price your items ....

Well, yes. That's why it's called an "auction".

I am not a bathtub full of brightly-colored machine tools on Vendio.

For your eBay dictionary:

Scum-sucking bottom feeder: Someone who offers less than you think it is worth.

Free Market in Action: When bidders offer more than you think it is worth.
