It was the Mexican Silver Bracelet with the Green Stone. I checked today at Barnes and Noble in the collectors book for Mexican Silver and in it they had a picture of a bracelet similar to his and they called it Mexican Jade. Now before you say anything that isn't real Jade, but in Mexico they call it Jade. The bracelet in the book was carved. They also called it something else but I can't remember what it was. I had a Chai while I was there and it slipped my mind.

SOMEONE said it may be dyed green oynx.
ancient mexican-aztecs adored jade, they would rather have jade than gold and they believed it could cure disease.
but no one has managed to find any jade mine in mexico and so it has been speculated it came from guatamala.
mexican jade, soochow jade, indian jade, call what you want,if it is not nephrite jade or jadeite jade,it aint no jade.
indian jade is aventurine.
soochow jade, god knows what it is.
stones which have been paraded as jade-aventurine,serpentine,bowenite,jet,soapstone,quartz,chrysophase,marble,stone,rock,plastic,polymer jade.
