just received this missive from this VERY NICE company:
Dear Mr. Boston Red Sox Ralph,
It has come to our attention that a fraudulent company has been sending e-mails
telling sellers that they have money waiting for them and asking them to log
onto their fraudulent site and to supply them with detailed personal information,
including credit card information in order to receive this money. This is not
us. Disregard any such requests.
SELLERS WILL NEVER BE ASKED TO LOG ONTO OUR SITE TO REGISTER TO GET A PAYMENT
FROM A BUYER. WE WILL NEVER ASK A SELLER FOR THEIR CREDIT CARD INFORMATION.
Our buyers and sellers can log on to the members center of our site to verify
all transactions involving them. Sellers do not need to register on our site
in order to receive a payment. We at Payingfast continued to be committed to
a goal of Superior Customer Service. This means everything to us. This is how
we built our business and this is our trademark.
So, please watch out for any fraudulent requests for information.

It's everywhere on the net now. AOL and it's 36 million members are really getting the spoof emails now. The Gold Rush is on to harvest credit card and account numbers.
