I was searching around eBay and just noticed that at the bottom of the page was a list of everything I'd just looked at. So I signed out thinking that would end it but NO! The stuff was still there.

When did this happen? I didn't see any notice of a new "enhancement".

It's nice if you want to compare stuff but I'd imagine that it just causes super slow page loads for dial ups.

Eek! Mine mentioned the bikini auction mentioned in another thread.

Not a good enhancement...

I couldn't figure it out for a long while until I just looked at a bookmarked auction and saw it at the bottom of the page in a special box.

I can see ebay getting rid of this feature. Imagine all of the people that share computers and ebay accounts each seeing what each other person has recently viewed on ebay? The wife gets caught looking at chipendale calendar auctions and the husband gets caught looking at camo bikini thongs.

I found it.! Well if it would have had teeth it would have bite me.

neroter12 go to your seller page and scroll to the bottom and there it will tell you where you visited last. I really doubt it if anyone else can see mine other than myself. At least I hope not or so what ever is the right way to say it.

I don't see this either and have checked every page after visiting some auctions...

I don't have "Favorites" turned on though, so that could be the problem.

3 auctions stay there, as you look at more auctions what you last viewed goes away and the VERY last auction you looked at takes the place of one of the 3, try it. if you looked at the bikini auction look at 2 more auction, now,,,,look at a 4th auction. new ones appear and they are AH! Replaced. I see it on the bottom of other sellers pages I just viewd. too early! I am out the door. Happy hunting.

I'm not sure if this is what you're talking about, but my son was using my computer while I went shopping Saturday afternoon. I just signed in under my name (he was surfing ebay under a different ID) and on the bottom of my ebay page I found 5 Yu-Gi-Oh cards under a new heading called "More Items You May Like". I tried to look at some of my auctions, but the Yu-Gi-Oh cards didn't go away - not sure why.

Oh, now I see my list of recently viewed items when I was looking at a sellers other listings. You can't see it when you're in an auction itself. I signed out and signed back in under my buying ID and it was still there. Even at the bottom of that it had recent searches you've performed. Hmmmmm - very interesting. I should go in the adult section on my husbands computer and see if he notices (just kidding)

Re: The link above.

So I changed my settings and thought that was that.

Hmm. Browsing an hour later and there are the last 3 searches again. Went to my preferences again, yup, still checked on Never display this.

Ebay screwed as usual?

Checking that preference box does NOT work for me.

Everytime I look at something, there's those darned things at the bottom of the page.
