I can't really tell what the back looks like but could it be a pajama bag. When I was young ( a long time ago) I had a clown bag I put my pajamas in and put under my pillow. No remarks about the parkman and pajama bags...actually I am Mrs Parkman.

Does it have a pouch?
You're not giving us enough info on the construction.
If it does call it a juvenile clothes hamper!

it's a pajama bag! I just got one last week, and it is made very similar to this - but mine is a doll.

Is it really a jammy bag?
When you list it give us the # my wife keeps hollering at me for not putting my jammies where they belong!

Sounds like a hamper to me!

Yes, it has a pouch on the backside with one snap and says "Holiday Fair, NY" 1957. (2nd pix came out too small)

Thats it!! A pajama Bag! Thanks, everybody.

it doesn't go under the pillow though. you put it on the bed like a throw pillow or stuffed animal.

these used to be quite popular. i bought my granddaughter one that was a plush teddy bear. when you put the jammys in the back it would make his belly puff out.

rarriffle: Yes, I remember an enmormous popularity for these pajama bag things. (Drew a blank and was thinking diaper bag.) Clown stuff is still timeless for infant decoration and adults into nostalgia.

Tomwillie: Sorry you think its trash. I guess it just doesnt measure up to the,'oh-so elegant' but terribly ugly and goushe-looking jewelry you pawn on here. But one cant fault your skewered opinions really; you'd probably have to sleep with a human once or twice and not just a dog to understand anything that doesnt say $$$ still has some sentimental appeal to real human beings.

neroter12 LOL !!!

You haven't been here too long and you are already getting an attitude like the rest of us. Gotta luv that! Good for you!

I agree it's a pajama bag. But I see evil lurking in all clowns. To me this one is kind of gloomy looking, not even sad. Not even evil unless he is one of those clowns just ready to snap into insanity.

I wonder how many of these they made and what the kids thought of them? I hope he sells for a good price.

Thanks!!

Taint my jewelry! My brother (an evil troll) refuses to do anything with my dead Mom's estate, leaving me to dispose of all her junk!
