I have a students Day Timer Organizer. I think its nice, it has index for assignments due, etc. But I am wondering if its worth listing? I kinda feel like all the kids now are probably using PDA's or something.

Also, the Day Timer's catagory is full of regular Day Timers with very few bids. If I do list this -- what catagory do you think would attract the college kids? School supplies or something??

Sometimes the most important aspect of researching an item you may want to list on ebay is the closed auctions search. That's a good answer on how a certain item will probably fare on ebay.

On iffy items that may not be worth the insertion fees a low cost or free web store may be a better place to place these items.

YOu might list it in the daytimers section anyway but put FOR STUDENTS all caps in the title line. Do you know what they retail for? And does it have a year on the cover so that it's outdated or soon will be? In that case, I'd forget it. If it's for the school year 2003-2004, I'd list it in the next couple of weeks.

Also, do a little searching for home schooling stuff. I don't think there's a separate category, although there should be! Those parents usually are looking for big bargains for all that they have to purchase, and they may feel that their student needs such a thing.

I have LIVED in DayTimers for about 30 years now. I only use the calendar features and forget all those extra pages. But my week at a glance (big size) has been my bible, and I don't know what I'd do without it, even now when I'm retired.

Yeah, thanks guys!

Its actually a 2002 "Day Runner" with Taz Devil and looney tunes on it. (Noticed people love all that TAZ stuff. I've sold some.)

The only thing you would need to update is the calendar and it has an insert where you can order it. ::shrug::

The students one's are not so much geared toward the calendar as the other inserts as telephone & address, directory, assignments, class schedule, grade records (like who records their grades??)

It probably wont net anything, but I guess I will throw it out there for a fifty cents or something. (What am I gonna do with it?)

Btw, saw on some TV show alot of the colleges now are requiring the students to have computers and or PDA's? pfffsttt.

Ace,
Just wanted to thank you for reminding me to check completed items. Some of these have done well in the just recent past (even with needing new inserts!)

I am going to list it.

Thanks!!!!! Tessa

Those Day Runner day planners are expensive to buy new, and refills aren't cheap either. You should have no trouble selling it.

My honest thought would be:
Today the kids are using the PDA or their Phones!
But what do I know?

Give it a whirl, never throw anything away without trying!

what catagory do you think would attract the college kids?
Try the Adult catagory!

dads,
Thats was my first thought, too.

I must be old fashioned but those things get complicated -- batteries going dead, beeping all over the place.

We rely so much on computers and electronics these days, one bad power outage for a couple days and half of us are sunk for informaton stored on these things.

I may or may not list it. See hows I feel when I get done listing what I think WILL sell.

Ty, max
