We have very hard water, and my glasses and silverware get this all the time, I make up a solution of CLR (calcium and lime remover) and leave them to soak. I have been doing it for years, and it doesn't seem to cause any damage at all.

Before you try the CLR, which can be bad for some old crystal, try a couple of denture cleaning tablets disolved in water. Let the glass soak.
If the clouding is caused by dishwasher detergent etching, nothing will fix it.

Thanks all for yor help and your idea's
I did do the vinegar mixed with water soak, with them being wet they looked great.. but when they dried.. NOT.
I would say they are 20-30 yrs old or older. Not really sure. I picked them up at a sale this weekend.
I will try denture cleaning tablets.
