A friend of my mom's gave me some vintage corning ware casserole dishes. They're a solid yellow..not bright..more a "butter" color. I've searched eBay/Google...does that color have a more specific name? I think the pieces probably date from the 1950's or so...Any info re: date/value/name of color would be greatly appreciated...Thanks! I could post a photo if needed for identification.

Thanks, "toasted"...Actually, these are a bit brighter yellow than mine and mine have clear Pyrex lids. The mark on the bottom looks the same though.

Go to Replacements.com, search under corning. You might find it there, then again you may not. Corning ware is not something that is in big demand.
