As a long time lurker and newly registered poster I am asking for some help. I have seen a thread that floats to the top periodically with the code for the smilie faces, which I promise to use sparingly. I can not find it with search. Can someone direct me to it? I made a note of instructions someone gave for linking pictures but remember comments on marking styles (bold, italic, etc) that are not HTML. I expected to find an FAQ about posting format but can not find one anywhere on the Vendio site. Is there such a thing?

Some of the very basic smiles do not need any codes of any kind. The USBB system will convert a semicolon followed immediately by a left parenthesis into a regular smiley face and a semicolon followed immediately by a right parenthesis into a frown. There are a few others that work with the semicolon.

If I learned my lesson well I will have bold and italic in my sig file. If not, I'll go back and try again.

I must have been here way to long. I was thinking just this morning is about time for a smiley face etc tread, stolen Ebay pictures is about due as well.
