I wonder how long (or if it is happening already) before they start spoofing these emails?

How many of you click on the link with the daily status emails and then type in PW to enter your account? (I've done it, but lately I am trashing almost all the mail from ebay.)

Well thats great. Now I got something else to be paranoid of. haha

Never heard of this link. Where is it?

Oh, never mind! Just realized what you're talking about. My mind is still muddled from the "testing, testing" link scamps.

Is it a Vendio option? Or ebay option, I haven't heard of it either but you're right that the hackers will probably try more and more clever avenues to gain passwords.

One good thing about all of these spoofs is that it brings attention to the need to be very careful with passwords and account information.

That is an ebay option they have had for years. Used to be it would highlight the auctions you had bids on, but then they changed it to some confusing garb. I turned off that option a couple of years ago. No real need for it anyway if you check your auction daily anyway.

You're right stonecold. If you log into your myebay page or even right here on vendio you dont have any need for it.

Its not a link, its an email sent out, per option if you checked on your ebay - for your daily status of bidding and selling.

But if I dont have ebay open and doing something else and that pops in my box, sometimes I open it click just to send if anything's changed. But not since there were bogus awconfirm emails going round.
