asking me to verify my email address ---

Is this for real or another of the hundreds of ebay hoaxes going around?
EDITED TO ADD - I have had lots of activity in the last six months with feedback within the last month.

Probably a hoax. To find out for sure, forward to [email protected]. They will reply and let you know if it's legit. The red flag on this one (actually there are several) is the link where they will ask you to confirm your addy. Betcha if you click that link, there will be a place for you to enter your password also. The opentransfer.com domain that it came from is also a MAJOR red flag. If it were legit, they would direct you to sign in through www.ebay.com and the email would have come from www.ebay.com or one of their cgi servers.
The light at the end of the tunnel will turn out to be an oncoming train.
