I don't know if the worm is the reason, but I have had very few bids on my auctions since news about its spread hit the airwaves.

I really don't think that is the reason but I think the reason might be, getting children ready for school. Some open in the end of August and then some after Labor day. I found this time to be rather slow.

I think it could be just a small blip, I know my mother in law's computer is infected, and it keeps shutting down. She wouldn't bid online, but it could have an affect. I heard that the Maryland DMV was shut down, imagine how many state employees who use worktime to bid on ebay are now not bidding!

It must be affecting buyers.....it affected me!! I was so %$*^&^^ mad Tuesday my wife and dogs all left the house! I downloaded the patch and all is well now......

Wow, I feel lucky. My boyfriend said that since our cable Internet has a router, our chances of getting the worm were low. Taking no chances, I downloaded the patch. These people really need to get a life or at least put their cunning to better use.
