About two months ago someone posted a web sight for a USPS free calculater, would there be any such sight for a UPS calculater? Thanks in advance.

I don't know of a calc. for UPS, but I can tell you that either UPS or FedEx are outrageous in their costs. they charge a surcharge on anything going to Canada.

Interesting site if one doesn't use a fixed price.
We have found using a fixed shipping price saves tons of e-mails, and confusion...trying to explain to buyers that insurance is REQUIRED (at least by us) etc., just takes too much writing time and energy, so we have found a fixed price AND listed as shipping/insurance/handling - keeps the buyer from trying to NOT pay the insurance.

Or you could just type up UPS.com in the address bar. don't fall for the pass word and your sign in name. Just click in the direction you want to go and you will find the shipping calculator. Don't fall for filng in the city or anything else, all it cares about are the zip codes. Make up a dummy calculation. It's easy! and you can track and do all kinds of thing there too.
Oh! once you get to the shipping calc. just save that page as a favorite.

I've used the calculator at www.iship.com previously. It appears to be accurate, easy to set up and will even create a link that you can copy into your auctions to allow the customers to figure out the choices. Now if only you can get that percentage of customers who still e-mail to ask "how much will this cost to ship to me?" and forget to include at least a zip code....These people must have to leave jelly beans to find the computer each day
