kind of restores my faith in the intelligence of the buying public! $2 item plus big shipping when you can buy for less at Walmart????

I had never thought of using my metal (footed too ) veggie steamer as a candy dish... kinda ecclectic huh? LOL!

You can get this at the dollar tree for a buck if you have one in your area.

Has 2 bids now. Cannot understand why anyone would be stupid enough to pay for shipping one of these and at the price the guy wants. They are all over the place in very slightly different sizes including walmart, target, 99cent stores, dollar stores etc. and have been made by the millions for years.

Hey, maybe sometimes all ya have to do is amuse people.

Too funny...

ps: I actually saw a metal candy dish/flower holder looking similar to this today. And I know it was that because the directions/manufacturers sheet was in the box! Weird....

Ace got this from another message board where he usually finds most of his links.

The seller has a sense of humor and revised her auction.

I think most of the hits are from people who read the boards.

I think you and I are the only readers of both boards. Why not share the humor? They "borrow" stuff from this board sometimes too.

It's actually a collander manufactured in Elbonia. Virtually all of them were exported to Africa as they are very popular with pygmies for draining pasta. Very hard to locate in this country. If the seller had done her research and described it correctly, it would probably bring a couple hundred bucks.

This guy hands out advice all the time. I hope all you sellers out there take this guys advice. If so I will have less competition soon.

This only shows how useless counters are. I prefer to use the only accurate free counter, the one that counts bids on the item page.

I have a 13in. diameter metal frying pan splatter screen ( slightly used ) that proved to be too large for my 12 in. iron frying pan. Does anyone think I would have any luck listing it as a vintage fan?

I think I have one of these in my kitchen cabinet. How do I tell if it is the same?
