I like Fluffy's idea much better that she had a while back of self-issuing credits and it's was a lot cheaper. This mystorecredit.com might work for high end items though.

do bidders really care whom they buy the item from??
would this idea work better if you have a store??
i bookmarked a few sellers who have good reputation and good items ,but they are professional dealers who need to clear on ebay to raise cash and they are not interested in giving any store credit.

A sort of good idea that will never fly on a scale big enough to enable them to stay in business. Most ebay buyers just want the lowest price or a specific hard to find item, and they don't care who it comes from.
