Since Ebay announced that they are offering a free BUY-IT-NOW listing period if you offer PayPal as a payment option, Is there anyone going to list anymore auctions other than what they would have without the promotion? Personally, I don't think that 5 cents is worth listing extra auctions during the slowest time of the year for online auctions.

I have to agree with you, 5 Cents, is paltry, pathetic and certainly not worth the effort, particularly at a slow period of the year - in fact, it would probably cost to in both time and money to use this ridiculous meager 5Cents FREE eBay offer.
5 Cents is a miserable amount, but to then put conditions on, the scanty amount is about asinine.
Perhaps in eBay’s next BIG ”FREE day, they can offer Titles on your ads for FREE, if you offer PayPal, use only 1,500 Words in your ad, and end all of your auctions at midnight on Saturday night! Dumb? Not much more so than 5 Cents BIN “Free” tied to PayPal !!
Thanks, but no thanks eBay.....how dumb do you think sellers are!

If I listed 100 items I would save a whoping $5.00. And, if I forgot to go in and change all my ads with my listing service I would spend it on relists.
But, aside from that. If even one item I list gets into a bidding war I will get $10 to $15 extra on it. And, I usually have at least 5 a week that go over that. If I start everything at $10 higher start bid I will get no bids (I tried it last time they offered BIN free or fixed price or some silly promo)
So, I think I will pass. And, unless it is a feature you already use a lot, it isn't going to help much. I can't see the rest of us listing tons of items to take advantage of the great deal I would rather have had penny gallery day, and I don't even use that feature either unless it is free.

I noticed the listings chart has gone up quite a bit ( one million listings ) during the promotion. Seems like a lot of sellers did take ebay up on their paltry offer.
