Hi
I have not shipped or sold on ebay for over a month.(took a break) Well I use stamps.com and when I went to send a padded envelope via 1st class mail with delivery confirmation, I got this new warning saying that the envelope must be 3/4" thick or over. Ok so it's not over 3/4" thick so the only thing I can do now is send it via 1st class and the postal service does not allow you to add delivery confirmation to it? Am I just not getting this? Most of my items go in padded envlopes and are under 3/4" thick, but I want delivery confirmation on them. How do you do this with stamps.com? Please help me.

This is not a new thing as far as postal regualtion. I use endicia and have shipped hundreds of items DC in padded envelopes that were less than 3/4" thick. I have never had them reject it. I think you may have a problem putting DC on a standard non-padded envelope. If they start complaining, I will start inserting 1 packing peanut in each envelope to make it 3/4" thick.

That's what I do with Endicia and my first class. I either put a piece of bubble wrap or a few packing peanuts in there.
