I've gotten this notice twice. I sent it to eBay both times, and gotten a reply back stating that it is a spoof and nothing that eBay has sent. Remember...eBay never asks for your password...isn't that their motto?

What needs to be done with these crap e-mails is for everyone to click the link, then put in some profanity for the user name and password. Maybe once they get enough of them, they will get tired of sifting through all of the returned spam links, they might give up.

I know it is a phony-was pretty sure when they asked for a password-just checked with the eBay safe harbor forum and there is a big discussion on it. (some actually gave out ID, password,credit card info and SS#)
I did send it to [email protected], blocked the sender (I read all mail on line at my ISP's site before downloading}
I also thought about answering with something like phony ID and password until I read that just replying or clicking on the link can open a can of worms for you.
