Okay, only two things to go - the ice crusher on the packing table and the Stiffel lamp next to the model airplane kit!
Then all I need to do is print out USPS & FedEx labels.

Lucy...Are you absolutely certain that ice crusher is in good working condition? Have you actually used it to make a Margarita? You have one last chance to test it before it goes into the box.

Mcjane - you're seeing the comparatively tidy side. The bed just out of view to the right hasn't been seen all year.

Yeah Lucy...I'd give it one more quality control test, just to be sure. You can't be too careful, you know.

Lucy, yes for me it was long.....from 10:15pm to 2:15am
Felt like a week. We had a storm, not much thunder & lightning so never expected the lights to go out.
We sat here with kerosene lanterns wondering how they lived that way, way back when.

Lucy,
At least you have a good half of the room to show, I don't, the entire room is a mess.
Funny thing is I know where everything is so maybe I better not straighten it up!

Lucy, I thought my porch was a mess, but it looks great compared to your room. LOL (I have an enclosed porch that I use for storage & packing) See you next week in Santa Margarita??

Well, shoot... No limes. So no Margarita. Oh dear, oh dear, oh dear, alas is me...
I did, however, find a bottle of Balvenie single malt lurking in the cabinet. Which discovery inspired me to try a Scotch Mist with ice crushed in the self-same crusher you see in the picture.
I am exercising restraint this fine evening. Do still have those two things to pack and of course now the darn ice crusher is all wet!

Mcjane, FOUR HOURS??? That's terrible! How did you survive without electricity for the ice crusher? As far as cleaning up your eBay room, don't - you'll NEVER find your stuff.
Sanmar, it's this next weekend, right? I'm gonna try to get up there. It's been a zoo around here lately. I missed the last two auctions.

Still working here in Minnesota...2 am and not done yet...keep on trucking! gee lucy..i'm getting thirsty! and your room looks GREAT! Just enough room in my pit for me to sit at pc and my very tiny puppy to snooze on the bed.

Hi Mary Ann, sit back and have a drink.
I figure I'll be done in another half hour. Only have the lamp left to pack but if I don't get moving it'll NEVER get done!
Thanks for the compliment! I like the room much better since I painted it purple.
Secondary benefit is now I don't have to correct for too much yellow in my pics. I guess the purple neutralizes the yellow in the light. This room is on the southwest corner of the house so it's very bright and sunny.

You guys put me to shame...11:30 in Alaska and I'm falling asleep at the puter.....did some Alaska camping this weekend. The leaves are turning yellow so not very many more camping weekends for us. Time to list on Ebay like crazy...now till mid December.

Same here I went to bed. I have learned one thing. If you go to bed with things to do they will be there in the morning. There is no packaging genie so today I am packaging. Not much but just enough to mess everything up.

Anyone who sells can identify with this. Don't know what's worse, doing the packaging late at night or saving it for first thing in the morning. It's my least favorite job.
