Cheryl is a grandmother to one precocious 5-year old girl. May the good Lord help me when she becomes a teenager!

My son has been married for over a year and I'm still not a grandparent. I guess everyone was right when they advised me not to use a .357 Mag to emphasize my point when I had "that talk" with my teenagers.

My oldest daughter has three sons, ages 14, 11, and 8. My son and his wife are expecting their first in Feb. The best part about it is they were able to come to Illinois from their home in Washington, DC when my husband got sick and told us so he knew it before he died and was thrilled. My youngest daughter is waiting for Mr. Right.

Hi all,

I'm G'ma Lucy to Bobby (10), Connor (7 1/2) and Beth (3 1/2). They're the ones who demolished my summer.

Their Dad, my oldest son, is at Lake Tahoe for 2 weeks working on the Subaru Primal Quest endurance race. I think he got his "endurance" from being a Daddy!

Also Cristina, who lives in Mesa, AZ. She's 11 and hasn't demolished anything at all around here!

AHA. I just knew we had the wisdom and maturity of age here at Vendio's Ebay Outlook. How nice that so many of us have lived long enough to know what we don't know and to have the humility to ask for help.

Now if you would all pray for a little granddaughter for me. . . .

and btw, LOL Sparkz and the .357 magnum discipline method ... i heard on radio yesterday pointers for 'dating my daughter' and one of them was something like, "if you come to our door with your pants waistband hanging down around your hips, i will gladly secure them with my staple gun."

Never been married...BUT:

When I was young & healthy, I kinda adopted a kid when he was 13 & played SINGLE DAD for 7 years (never DO THAT again -- how did I ever live through 14&15??)

He has 3 kids now that I spoil rotten: 10,7,4.

If you check out my ME page, there are pics from our June trip to ENGLAND. That's my bouncing-baby-boy with Victoria, his 10 year old who is my bestest buddy! She got a real kick when we ate lunch at the Victoria Pub accross the street from Victoria Station in London!

When she was born, I was real disappointed she twernt a boy -- now I wouldn't trade her for any boy on Earth! I'm still flabbergasted that she gets such a kick out of me!

But now, it's just me & Ralphie, two ole grumpy bachelors rocking our way into our sunset years

Grandpa to a 10 year old Grandaughter and a 4 year old Grandson. The 4 year old broke his arm 7 weeks ago and got the cast off yesterday. He came running in holding up his arm hollaring "I'm Free I'm Free".

Is that you Tom or your son? If it's you, how did you ever manage to stay single? I'm surprised someone hasn't snapped you up. Your grandchildren are beautiful! What fun they must have had. My ancestors are from Scotland and I've always wanted to make that trip. Someday. . .

I avoid pics at all possible costs! Who wants to see an old bald gomer like me??

I'm sneaky by showing my Coast Guard boot camp (JUNE 1970) pic on my ME page -- young (21) & trim (155 -- lost 60lbs in boot camp) and the whole future in front...

I started selling on Ebay 4 years ago in order to sell off some of my "treasures" to set up a college account for my 1st Granddaughter - I now have 3 (2 girls & a boy). I really have to keep my "treasures" moving out of here. My kids will eventually think of my "junk" (as they call it) as a blessing when these ANGELS are ready for college.

AintRichYet - what an adorable little boy! And his costume is just great!!! I love the "hair"!! LOL

I'm not a grandmother - hopefully won't be for a very long time (my little boy is only 6)...but I think grandmothers are wonderful

I didn't know either sets of my grandparents as they had passed before I was born - but I watch my mother with my little boy and it is such a beautiful, beautiful bond. Grandmothers are the best!
