I recently purchased two large lots of Magic the Gathering cards for my grandson on Ebay.
Today I get this email:
We see where you're bidding on Magic:The Gathering cards. We wish you the best of luck in the auctions. If you decide you need MTG singles and don't want go through the auction process, we would suggest you take a look at www.mtgsingles.com. www.mtgsingles.com sells Magic:The Gather singles direct at reasonable prices.
If you don't find this email helpful and would like to make sure you don't receive any more, you can do so at this webpage: http://earth.prohosting.com/thedman

not through eBay.

What do you think they did? Check closed listings? I am considering turning them in but I don't know if Ebay could trace it back to an Ebay member.

I would turn them in anyway. we get enough unsolicited garbage without them going through ebay to send us more.

www.mtgsingles.com has an ENTIRE crew of people who spam every single bidder of MTG cards.
I am not exagerating every single bidder on any MTG auction has gotten the same damned spam.
It is nearly pointless to report any individual user ID because they are all throw away id's for that exact same spam. They have gone through 100's of ID's over the last few years.
I actively played for over a year and EVERY SINGLE BID I MADE I got the carbon copy ask Ebay member a question crap.
I did not matter who the seller was you were bidding with.
It would be better to report the webhosting company of mtgsingles.com
