Here's a link from bsanon (booksellers anonymous) site; not sure if I totally understand it yet, but the thinking is that this is the first step in integrating Half.com into eBay.

Roadsmith, except for the fees, books I've listed on both sites have done much better on ebay...guess its the exposure.

Maybe ebay is trying to salvage a few of the millions of Half listings? I can not see how ebay will ever expect Half sellers to pay insertion fees on very slow moving items.
